Before de portables, before low-fun, hell even before de weirdnolandbouwers, Jurgen, Wio, Hans and Hendrik played in an illustrious outfit playing golden popsongs with a little edge. Great success wasn’t their part however and due to musical differences, women and the anxiety-induced  invisibility of the womb each travelled his own path. Wio went to Turkey to master the sas, Jurgen started recording his own songs under the moniker Ed Lennon, Hans was created a knight by Queen Elizabeth II and Hendrik started selling donut-shaped fireplaces. It wasn’t until 1995, they settled the old disputes and became what will be remembered by the history books: de portables.

Every studiomuscle souper we hosted was presented by a professional presentator: the computer-animated hero slowhands franky. Here our hero (who died in 1897 during a firefight but resurrected 10 years later as a computer animation) professionally anounces sexy Dieter from Orange Black. Take it away Franky.
