It did not surprise us that he picked us, de portables, as we are also very passionate about Gregory De Buysscher. Now after three months of in-depth interviews, travelling to the legendary places we once played and doing a field trip to Iran in order to understand the roots and meanings of the new album, you can finally download his paper and come closer to understand the essence of de portables
Breezr, a collaboration between Loobke (standing in the back) and Zedelgem’s finest 1m54 (sitting at the keyboard), just released a new video. “The devil is a liar”, originally written by Nancy Winters, was recorded at de Batjesfeesten in Zedelgem, and is an exotic, transcending song of biblical proportions. You can spot Loobke’s fiancé Hans, hitting the drums and Slinterklaas Eastwood on the guitar. Amen to that!
