finalcountdown

Years and years ago, we were asked by “The Snuffel”, a nice backpackers youth hostel in the centre of Bruges, to do an acoustic live set in their café. I found back rediscovered a recording of a very bad though funny version we did there of Europe’s “The Final Countdown”, played on cardboard box drums, acoustic gtr and cheap casio. The crowd went wild and sang along happily!

Wio Bowie
What many people don’t know is that Wio is considered one of the finest cooks of the 20th century. His home-made Gyros is reknowned from Australasia to Anatolia and is stuffed with tomato, cucumber, roasted onions and a secret ingredient Wio refers to as “The Aroma”: a mystic, hard substance with a distinguished smell, the origins of which are both Wio’s nose and Wio’s toes.

5 Duvels left
Expected to be released in the autumn of 2006, Wio is recording his long-awaited follow-up to the upbeat masterpiece "Wio".  Insiders claim that "5 Duvels Left" will feature a chamber music quartet on several songs,  and that most songs will have a light and breezy feel to them. We can reveal that the album will feature ten gentle, autumnal songs that deal with Wio’s clinical alcohol rehabilitation, hence the clever title of the album. The award-winnning artwork for the album is done by Antoine and Anthony De Clerck, two very toffe jongens. Thanks guys!

Emerson of a bitch
We allways knew Jürgen Köhn fancied seventies progrock but we didn’t know that this malign obsession would lead him to pick this Emerson, Lake and palmer tribute art for the Köhn Anthology CD/DVD Box. A trilogy of all three Köhn CD’s (Köhn1, Köhn2 and Koen) including rarities and outtakes (a 70 minute recording of a broken CD player!) and a DVD full of the worst VJ performances ever! Under your Christmas tree in December 2006. First 300 copies come with a carrot.
